About the Company Our client is an established SME operating within the manufacturing sector, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
They are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller -Part Time to strengthen the internal financial capability and provide strategic financial support to the leadership team.
Role Overview Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will play a key role in overseeing and improving the financial operations of the business.
This position is ideal for a qualified finance professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is comfortable working independently within a small but ambitious organisation.
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial projections Oversee financial controls, processes, and risk management frameworks Monitor cost structures and provide analysis to support pricing and margin decisions Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, including VAT, PAYE, and year-end accounts Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions Provide financial insight and support to inform strategic planning and business growth initiatives Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and reporting tools Candidate Profile Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience, ideally within an SME environment ideally Strong technical accounting and commercial finance skills Proficient in accounting software and Excel High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels What is on Offer Flexible hybrid working- Part Time (2.5/3 days per week) Salary €80,000 -€90,000 (pro-rata) plus benefits A collaborative and supportive working environment An opportunity to add value and influence decision-making at a senior level
