We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our organization in Tralee, Ireland. This role will involve coordinating and managing all financial activities, including month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial statements and forecasts in support of the business, while also maintaining compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced finance leader to take on a key role within our team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budget preparation, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Preparation: Directs budget preparation and reviews budget proposals, ensuring accurate justification and documentation.
  • Financial Forecasting: Generates and reports a comprehensive twelve-month rolling financial forecast.
  • Financial Analysis: Conducts detailed financial analysis and projections at both project and site levels.
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance: Ensures compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and prepares for audits.
  • Financial Reporting: Provides senior leadership with timely insights into the organization's financial health.
  • Operational Adjustments: Advises management on operational adjustments and identifies opportunities for cost savings or profit improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in financial management or a related area.
  • Skills: Advanced functional and technical financial skills, with experience in manufacturing/cost accounting preferred. Experience with multi-VAT registration and international VAT tax rules.
