Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on drainage design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead project-stage tasks, guiding junior engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet programme and budget targets.
- Collaborate with clients to overcome project challenges, ensuring delivery of integrated designs and successful project outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records, forecasts risks, and adheres to QA/QC procedures.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartered status with relevant institutions.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure, including SUDs design, water main distribution pipelines, drainage networks, surface water catchment analysis, flood risk assessments, highway and pavement design, earthworks modelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Microdrainage or InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with architects, planners, and external consultants.
