Job Summary

Overview of the Role

This position involves providing expert technical support to clients across various sites. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and configuring computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of internal computer components, including storage drives, motherboard, and power supply. Familiarity with disk cloning tools and proficiency in managing partitions and formatting drives are also essential skills.

The role requires geographically based onsite support at specific sites or multiple locations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will escalate issues where necessary and prioritize, manage, and respond to Service Desk calls in a timely manner.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and end-users. You will work closely with third-party vendors for software and hardware installations and troubleshoot system problems, diagnose, and solve software faults.

Other responsibilities include contributing to the Knowledge Base, completing post-implementation checklists, handling 'how to' and information requests, and undergoing necessary training appropriate to the role.
