Senior Grocery Retail Manager Opportunity

A leading retailer in Ireland is seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to fill a Senior Grocery Retail Manager position.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management, learn procedures and standards, and achieve commercial goals while demonstrating strong leadership among colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have grocery or fresh food knowledge, some ordering experience, and a proven track record of success in retail environments.

Responsibilities will include working closely with senior management, providing inspirational leadership to a diverse team, and understanding and implementing food safety and sanitation guidelines.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing team members, gaining exposure to people management by leading and evaluating team members' work within grocery and retail departments.

They will coordinate tasks, address challenges, and maintain smooth operations through collaboration and effective communication.

Additional responsibilities will include supporting operational aspects such as scheduling, staffing, and managing work shifts.
