We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Trainee to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will play a vital role in delivering energy-saving systems that make a real difference to our customers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills and qualifications in electrical engineering, including the ability to maintain or upgrade electrical systems for customers through green innovations such as smart grids, energy storage, and renewable energy technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining or upgrading electrical systems for customers using green innovations like smart grids, energy storage, and renewable energy technology.
  • Collaborating with experienced engineers to deliver energy-efficient solutions to customers.
  • Developing skills and qualifications in electrical engineering to become a top-tier Electrician, supporting career growth and development.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five passes at leaving certificate level (including English & Mathematics).
  • A passion for learning a trade, striving for a successful career, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Availability to attend training at a SOLAS training centre and flexibility to travel and stay away from home for work assignments across the country.
  • The ability to fulfill physical requirements of the role, including bending, stretching, kneeling, and crouching, as well as working at height and in confined spaces.

  • A starting salary of €17,135, rising to €22,031 at 1 year, €31,822 at 2 years, and €39,165 after 3 years of your apprenticeship, with other add-ons on top.
