We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Financial Accountant to join our team for a 9-month fixed term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of finance activities within a high-performing international environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis.
  • Perform reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
  • Conduct monthly review of intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare consolidated management accounts for Irish entities.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage year-end audit engagements and corporation tax return submissions.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for timely submission of annual reporting.
  • Ensure VAT and VIES returns are completed and submitted on time.
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects as directed by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 1–2 years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.

- Strong academic background with solid technical accounting skills.

Skills and Attributes:
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Confident communicator, able to build effective working relationships across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, discreet, and capable of handling sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach and desire to learn.
