We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Marine Mechanic. This is a challenging position that requires expertise in diagnosing, servicing and repairing outboard and inboard marine engines and related mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on diesel engines, outboard motors and inboard propulsion systems.
  • Inspect, diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on vessels.
  • Conduct engine overhauls, cooling system flushes and fuel system servicing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and test new mechanical components, propellers and related marine equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagnostic tools.
  • Maintain detailed service records, parts inventories and inspection reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maritime regulations during all repair and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in a similar position
  • Marine Engineering or Mechanical diploma/certificate
  • Diesel engine and outboard motor training
  • Manufacturer certifications are highly regarded
  • Basic welding and electrical skills
