Quality Assurance Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join a leading packaging and labelling manufacturer on a contract basis.

The role involves working onsite at the company's location in Mallow, Cork, as well as at customer sites in Carrigtwohill, Cork, on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment and possess strong Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing work and test plans based on accurate interpretation of customer project documentation, carrying out detailed inspections on products, assembling packages, and recording all activities accurately using current quality documentation practices.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing work and test plans based on accurate interpretation of customer project documentation
- Carrying out detailed inspections on products to meet customer expectations
- Assembling packages to be tested as per the test plan
- Accurately recording all inspection and assembly activity
- Providing regular updates on progress against schedule to the customer and project engineer

Required skills and qualifications include:
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment
- Strong GMP/Good Documentation experience
- Ideally experience in QC/QA
