Site Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Operations Manager to lead our construction site team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working as a construction site foreman/foreperson, preferably with civil contractors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement daily and weekly programs, including issuing program details to sub-contractors
  • Attend management team meetings for clients' construction teams
  • Maintain the site diary, recording manpower levels and detailed notes of site activities
  • Day-to-day management of the site, ensuring production outputs meet targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Manage project workflow in line with agreed production targets
  • Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors
  • Ability to motivate labourers and subcontractors
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to the site team

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a construction site foreman/foreperson, preferably with civil contractors
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site
  • Ability to use time productively, maximise efficiency and meet challenging work goals
