Civil Project Manager Role

About the Opportunity: A reputable organization is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee a high-profile energy project based in Kerry.

  • Developing and implementing daily and weekly programmes, along with issuing programme details to sub-contractors.
  • Attending regular meetings with the management team for clients' construction projects.
  • Maintaining accurate site records – documenting manpower levels for each sub-contractor and logging all site activities.
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.
  • Maintaining a focus on achieving production outputs in line with targets while adhering to quality standards.
  • Collaborating with the project team to meet agreed production targets.
  • Ensuring sub-contractors adhere to the programme of works on site.
  • Coordinating the control of equipment on site.
  • Managing the workflow of sub-contractors.
  • Fostering teamwork among Labourers and sub-contractors.
  • Providing clear leadership and direction to the site team while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a construction site manager or foreman, working with civil contractors.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
  • A solid understanding of the construction industry and experience working on-site.
  • Able to maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
