Construction Project Site Leader

We are seeking a seasoned construction professional to oversee one of our largest projects in Kerry. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced site manager to lead a dynamic team and deliver a high-profile project on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage daily and weekly work plans aligned with the project schedule.
  • Coordinate plant, labor, and material requirements to minimize delays.
  • Sequence operations efficiently, including excavation, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours.
  • Plan plant movement and manage access routes to prevent site congestion.
  • Allocate tasks to the workforce, ensuring optimal productivity.
  • Manage and maintain plant usage logs and ensure efficient deployment.
  • Ensure works are carried out to the required design specifications and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with RAMS and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Maintain daily site diaries, capturing work progress, workforce levels, and plant usage.
  • Record concrete pour details, including delivery times and batch information.
  • Report any delays, issues, or design conflicts to the Project Manager.
  • Track and log variations for commercial reporting to the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in planning, directing, and coordinating projects on site.
  • A related construction qualification, such as HNC or Degree.
  • Strong IT and communication skills.
