Senior Engineering Manager

A Tier 1 Building & Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a Senior Engineer for a major new school development in South Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with strong career progression, development support, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all works are completed safely and to the highest quality standards
  • Implement project-specific quality control procedures
  • Provide accurate setting-out information and ensure clear communication on site
  • Interpret drawings for layouts, quantities, and construction sequencing
  • Review and coordinate detailed design with design teams
  • Manage subcontractors and general workforce to meet programme milestones
  • Order and control materials to support project delivery
  • Maintain site records, including meeting minutes and technical discussions
  • Identify and eliminate rework through accurate, proactive engineering management

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years' experience as a Site / Senior Engineer
  • Background with a main contractor
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Project
