Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Architect to lead the development of our General Timer Module.

This role is part of our Platform System Resources team, with a focus on GTM architecture and components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining component requirements and platform specifications for each architectural component.

They will also break down stakeholder requirements and application assumptions into component requirements.

Furthermore, they will proactively drive innovation in Timer components, leveraging industry and market insights to anticipate and respond to emerging trends.

The goal is to ensure alignment with our company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Define component requirements and platform specifications for each architectural component
  • Break down stakeholder requirements and application assumptions into component requirements
  • Drive innovation in Timer components, leveraging industry and market insights
  • Own and create technical documentation for requested functional descriptions and documents
  • Interface with Technical Marketing and Design teams for seamless integration of platform architecture and component development
  • Assure quality and performance for architectural Timer components
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within the semiconductor or automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture and analog mixed-signal design/system integration
  • Strong working background in industry-standard timer
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards and their application
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
