Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Technology Programme Lead to join our team. As a key member of our finance practice, you will lead the delivery of complex finance technology solutions, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

You will be responsible for leading interactions with senior client stakeholders to resolve important questions and challenges regarding the solution design, plan, and budget of a complex finance technology implementation.

In addition, you will lead diverse experts working across various teams to define and manage project scope, goals, and deliverables. This includes developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget tracking.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the application of best practices in project management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in delivering large-scale finance technology projects with a blue-chip consulting firm. You must have a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of finance processes and financial reporting in banks and insurers.

Your skills should include experience with finance technology and reporting systems, such as SAP and Oracle. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years delivering finance technology projects with a blue-chip consulting firm.
  • Experience with delivering finance technology and reporting systems, such as SAP and Oracle.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience of the full lifecycle of delivery on large-scale finance technology programmes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in delivering business value from technology and communicating that value to senior business stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
