Job Overview

We are seeking a senior technical support professional to lead and mentor a team specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, managing, and supporting security tools that enable security operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technical support engineers in DLP platform support.
  • Ensure timely resolution of complex technical issues and adherence to service-level agreements.
  • Tune and upgrade system components following internal testing and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities enhancing data protection.
  • Contribute to projects improving current DLP capabilities, driving adoption, and enabling future growth.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues related to DLP platforms.
  • Partner with teams within the Cyber Fusion Centre to ensure DLP platforms meet operational needs.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience operating and supporting DLP tools across multiple security domains (network, email, endpoint, and web).
  • Knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms such as Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, and Microsoft Purview.
  • Experience managing application deployments, configurations, and updates on Linux (RHEL) with strong knowledge of Linux commands, filesystems, permissions, and process management.
  • Understanding of current data protection, information security, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Direct experience managing, mentoring, and leading teams.
  • Ability to create an environment driving knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach to security challenges.
  • Desire to learn, collaborative working style, and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in a 24/7 security operations environment emphasizing reliability and system availability.
Education and Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • A degree is not required but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficial.
  • Security certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC or similar, relevant product certifications).
  • Experience in financial services may be beneficial.
