Employee Relations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as an Employee Relations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for advising and counseling employees on various employee relations issues.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable consulting experience in the field of employee relations and excellent communication skills. They should also have a detailed knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate formal procedures, including disciplinaries, performance improvement, probation and grievances.
- Manage flexible work and medical accommodation processes.
- Support investigations across the ER function.
- Act as a subject matter expert in providing advice to HR colleagues and managers on all ER and policy issues.
- Demonstrable consulting experience as a specialist ER consultant or in a generalist/hr business partner role.
- A track record of conducting disciplinary and grievances, management of performance and probation and effective handling of flexible work requests.
- Experience of applying ER protocols in Ireland and the UK.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
