Job Overview

The Senior Project Manager role involves leading a large, business-critical project within a major regulatory change programme in the EU.

This position requires coordinating across multiple regions, ensuring governance standards are adhered to, maintaining a RAID log, producing regular reporting, and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workshops to capture and document current and future processes and requirements.
  • Work with Front and Back Office teams to design and agree future processes, controls, and metrics.
  • Manage and deliver both regional and global deliverables within the programme.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Operations, and Technology to secure requirements, approvals, and integration into the overall delivery plan.
  • Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution to protect go-live milestones.
  • Produce management information and progress updates for senior leadership.
  • Prepare decks, maintain meeting minutes, and track actions to drive accountability.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering large, complex, multi-year change programmes within Financial Services.
  • Skilled in documenting requirements, managing delivery plans, RAIDs, and presenting to senior/executive stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Global Markets, ideally with Operations exposure.
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Able to operate under pressure, work independently, and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable engaging with all levels of an organisation, including clients.
