Product Delivery Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Product Delivery Lead to join our team and drive the delivery of complex projects through agile processes. As a key member of our squad, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the product backlog to maximize value delivered to our customers.

Your primary focus will be on collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the product/service meets customer needs and is delivered on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for establishing a vision and roadmap for delivering requirements, and for continuously monitoring the project's performance and gathering feedback from various stakeholders.

  • You will demonstrate leadership and ownership of the product/project, inspiring others to share and contribute to the product/project vision and goals.
  • You will continuously monitor the project's and squad's performance, gather feedback from various stakeholders, and respond/take actions to show continuous improvement.
  • You will use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritize future improvements.
  • You will take tough decisions on what features/items to include in each sprint or release, based on the value they will deliver to business needs.

This role requires a professional with strong commercial acumen who can connect easily with the strategy and goals of both the project and the business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing product backlogs and development teams/squads, as well as a track record of delivering complex projects through agile processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 5+ years as Product Owner or Delivery Manager or Delivery Lead
  • Extensive experience in managing product backlogs and development teams/squads
  • Track record of delivering complex projects through agile processes
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Background in Financial Services/Banking domain in Ireland/UK markets will be an added advantage
  • Background in Core banking application will be an added advantage
