Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Driver to take on a challenging position within our waste management business. We're committed to environmental excellence and are looking for a professional to join our team at the Cork depot.
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving a range of vehicles, including skip, RoRo, and bin lorries, to ensure efficient collections and deliveries.
Key Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive Pay: An hourly rate of €17.50, with a contracted work week of 42.5 hours.
- Generous Bonuses: Boost your earnings with an additional €20 bonus per day, which includes a €14 attendance bonus and a €6 daily KPI bonus.
- Subsistence Allowance: Receive an extra €17.92 per day to cover your expenses.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a stable, full-time position with a clear rotating shift pattern, including early starts between 4am and 6am. You'll work on a fixed schedule from Monday to Saturday, giving you predictability.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks to ensure compliance and safety.
- Effectively manage your route to complete assigned collections and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate electronic and written records.
- Communicate effectively with your team to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
Requirements
- 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean and valid Category C licence.
- Current Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.
- You must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
