Job Title: Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for driving a range of Class 2 vehicles, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks to guarantee roadworthiness and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively manage your route to complete assigned collections and deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and written records of vehicle maintenance and cargo handling.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentability of your vehicle at all times.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
  • A valid Category C driving licence.
  • A current Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC qualification.
  • You must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
