Job Title: High-Tech HVAC Sales Specialist

TalentSource International is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity involves developing and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders, including consulting engineers, contractors, and end clients. As a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, you will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, proposing tailored HVAC solutions, and securing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development & Client Engagement:
    • Build strong, long-term relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and construction industry professionals.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and present solutions that add value.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring HVAC products and systems meet project needs.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients, offering tailored technical support and product demonstrations.
  • Assess customer drawings and specifications to prepare proposals that align with project requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial client engagement to final contract negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC product offerings, technical specifications, and industry applications.
  • Ensure timely submission of quotations and proposals, following up proactively to secure projects.
  • Support clients throughout the project lifecycle, from design to installation and beyond.
  • Accurately forecast and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue generation.
  • Leverage your engineering knowledge to present innovative HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to educate clients on product capabilities and benefits.
  • Use negotiation and closing skills to secure projects and meet personal KPIs.
  • Use a value-based selling approach to differentiate solutions from competitors.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in HVAC technology.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements & Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or a related technical field).
  • 5 years of proven experience in HVAC technical sales.
  • Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems and related control technologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and site visits.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
