Job Description:

Climate Change Project Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering climate change projects from start to finish. This includes scoping out projects, coordinating with clients, and ensuring that all project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carbon and/or lifecycle assessments for projects
  • Climate change risk assessments for projects
  • Ensuring projects can show compliance with relevant regulations
  • Keeping up to date with the latest climate assessment methodologies and guidelines
  • Coordinating climate assessments for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Reports
  • Technical report writing including preparation of EIA stages 1-4
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members and sub-contractors
  • Communicating with clients, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sub-contractors

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the environmental/climate sector
  • Experience preparing greenhouse gas/lifecycle/carbon assessments using various tools
  • Experience preparing climate change risk or adaptation assessments
  • Minimum BSc or BA (Hons) degree in environmental science or related discipline
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines
