Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our design and manufacturing operations in West Cork.

  • Oversee the entire design-to-production-to-site workflow to ensure seamless integration and maximum efficiency.
  • Leverage expertise in process engineering and continuous improvement to drive innovation and growth.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) across design, production, contracts, and purchasing to measure progress and success.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute strategic plans that support company growth and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior leaders, setting clear goals and expectations to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, as well as environmental standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Engineering or Business.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in an operations leadership position.
  • Strong technical, engineering, and production management skills, preferably within a volume manufacturing business.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate teams through effective leadership and communication.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
