Job Title: Senior Food Preparation Specialist

As a Senior Food Preparation Specialist, you will play a key role in achieving high standards of food preparation and presentation during lunchtime service. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the required standard.

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the required standard, ensuring that all food is of exceptional quality and presented attractively.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and organised workstation at all times.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries correctly, monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock rotation to minimise waste.
  • Contribute to menu development and daily specials where appropriate, following all HACCP and food safety guidelines strictly.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Senior Food Preparation Specialist role within a professional kitchen.
  • Valid HACCP certification is essential, with a strong understanding of food safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Working level of English (spoken and written) to understand kitchen procedures and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation, with the ability to adapt to new recipes and menus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the kitchen, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
