Opportunity in Food Service

We are seeking a motivated Part Time Deli Assistant to contribute to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold food items to the highest standards, adhering to strict quality control measures.
  • Ensure counters and storage areas are well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Familiarize yourself with food hygiene and safety procedures (HACCP compliant) to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Take customer orders efficiently and with a positive attitude, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operate deli equipment safely and assist with stock rotation, date checks, and deliveries, maintaining optimal inventory levels.

About You:

  • Friendly and approachable with good communication skills, able to work effectively in a team environment, providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Comfortable in a busy, customer-facing role, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring customer confidence.
  • Good attention to detail and previous experience in food preparation or handling is an advantage, demonstrating your ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • HACCP training or willingness to complete it is desirable, showcasing your commitment to food safety and quality control.
