Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting and assisting in the development and implementation of a Clinical Category Management strategy.

  • Manage and enhance a supply base to minimize risk, ensure quality, and optimize cost-effectiveness by collaborating with business units.
  • Collaborate to manage discussions related to strategies and align category priorities with Procurement management and team members.
  • Negotiate, manage supplier activities, and engage partners.
  • Drive value through cost savings, cash flow improvement, and efficiency gains from category management activities.
  • Represent Global Procurement in organizational decisions impacting success, growth, and results.

A typical day may include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve Global Clinical Category strategies through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Providing insights on rates, unit costs, and costing structures for optimal negotiations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong relationship management skills with collaborators and suppliers.
  • Experience in supporting global supply market evaluations using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools.
  • Operate with integrity, focus, and clarity in an environment of ambiguity to inspire change and improvement.
