Supporting Financial Operations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring that financial regulations and standards are strictly adhered to.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the finance officer to deliver all finance and administration duties. They will administer debtors and creditors accounts in accordance with policy framework, provide support with general administration across finance, property management, procurement, and financial reporting and compliance to statutory funders.
Main Responsibilities:- To perform day-to-day book-keeping, including weekly lodgements, analysis of credit/debit payments, petty cash, invoicing
- To prepare profit and loss budgets for homelessness and housing divisions
- To process weekly and monthly payroll for GSCK
- To assist in the preparation of Monthly Management accounts for the GM and Finance sub
- To assist in the preparation of Quarterly Management accounts for the Board
- To assist in the preparation of Annual Accounts, ready for audit
- To administer the group insurance policy
- To provide financial administration for GSCK events and activities, including fundraising
- To follow established administration and record keeping practices
We require a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a minimum qualification of Accounting Technician or degree in Accountancy (Level 7) and at least 2 years experience in a similar role providing finance and administration support.
