Senior Investment Fund Accounting Director

Are you a seasoned fund accounting professional with leadership experience looking for a challenging remote opportunity? We are seeking an accomplished Senior Investment Fund Accounting Director to lead a team of skilled fund accountants, overseeing Net Asset Value (NAV) production and providing exceptional service to our diverse portfolio of investment fund clients.

In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operational activities, review and approve daily and monthly NAV calculations, and act as the primary point of contact for clients. This position offers a unique chance for someone with strong technical skills and management expertise to grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of experienced fund accountants to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
  • Review and approve all NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the completion of annual fund audits and financial statement preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage client relationships, coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders, and resolve escalated enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Improve accounting workflows and participate in new product initiatives to enhance our services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fund administration or investment fund accounting, preferably with hedge fund experience.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting systems, processes, and NAV production.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a high level of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.
