Job Title: Infection Prevention Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team. As an Infection Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering specialist advice, education and services within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the provision of comprehensive infection prevention and control services to associated healthcare providers
- Develop and implement systems to improve the quality of infection prevention and control management
- Provide specialist advice on infection prevention and control practice
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant post-registration experience in infection prevention
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Essential criteria include:
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Willingness to undertake qualification in Infection Prevention and Control or recognised qualification
