Drive success in commercial project management by overseeing financial and contractual aspects from initial estimates to completion.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project plans based on site assessments, ensuring comprehensive understanding of requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of competitive tenders, covering all financial factors.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, securing advantageous terms and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain contractual documents related to projects.
  • Monitor and control project finances, forecasting cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics and potential risks.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks in projects.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, managing any disputes or claims.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Project Managers for seamless delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in commercial or project management roles within construction or engineering industries.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong experience in managing commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, estimating, and contract management.
  • Background in contracting, with hands-on experience in Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines preferred.
  • Some experience in small building works is advantageous but not essential.
  • Highly developed commercial acumen with ability to manage complex financial aspects of projects.
  • Strong contractual knowledge and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in using project management and financial software tools.
