CPU Design Lead


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled CPU Architect to lead our CPU design efforts. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge CPU cores for next-generation System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Author detailed specifications for the CPU core in sufficient detail for design teams and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with other architects to optimize CPU system performance.
  • Use simulators and other tools to model key workloads in terms of power & performance.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in OOO superscalar CPU designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate micro-architecture trade-offs in terms of performance, power, and area.
  • Understanding of CPU micro-architectures, memory hierarchy, and coherency in multi-core systems.

Additional Requirements:
  • Knowledge of RISC-V architecture, hardware and software aspects.
  • Experience with closely coupled accelerators.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML software frameworks and their mapping onto hardware.
