Are you a skilled Architectural Technologist seeking a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for an experienced professional to join our team in Tralee, County Kerry.
Job Description:As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for coordinating with architects, designers, and engineers to design architecture for construction projects. Your key responsibilities will include examining building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with building regulations and legal requirements.
- Evaluate and advise on environmental, legal, and regulatory issues.
- Contribute to planning applications and regulatory procedures.
- Identify necessary surveys (e.g., land surveys) before work begins, ensuring their completion and integration into the project.
- Develop and update project briefs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD).
- Conduct design-stage risk assessments.
- Administer contracts and oversee project certification.
The ideal candidate should have a relevant technical qualification and proficiency in Archicad. Knowledge of Sketchup and Photoshop is desirable, as well as hand-drawing/sketching skills.
