Customer Service Representative Position

A customer-facing role is available in a dynamic manufacturing environment.


Job Description:

About the Job:

This position involves developing long-term relationships with key business stakeholders, connecting and communicating effectively to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer purchase orders, producing work instructions, and ensuring timely delivery of orders according to customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize company systems and software packages to process customer orders efficiently.
  2. Create and maintain accurate work instructions for production release to fulfill customer orders.
  3. Provide clear and timely customer order confirmation.
  4. Evaluate pricing accuracy at order entry for invoicing purposes.
  5. Issue quotations to customers and solicit feedback.
  6. Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  7. Maintain up-to-date work instructions and data for assigned customer groups.
  8. Support management by providing relevant information for KPIs and generating reports as needed.
  9. Collaborate with other teams on cross-training initiatives.
  10. Engage with customers via phone calls and provide exceptional service.

Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Proficiency in using computer software, specifically intermediate-level Excel skills.
  3. High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  4. Strong learning capabilities and adaptability.
  5. Team player with excellent people skills.

Requirements:
  • Minimum requirement: Leaving Certificate or equivalent education.

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in customer service within a similar industry is highly desirable.
