Job Title: Human Resources Lead

A strategic and people-focused professional is required to make a meaningful impact in this dynamic organization. The role offers an exciting opportunity to foster a positive work culture, identify training needs, and support performance management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee engagement initiatives
  • Identify and address training and development gaps in collaboration with department heads
  • Support and enhance the organization's performance management frameworks
  • Provide HR guidance and support to all staff and management levels
  • Maintain and manage the HR system and employee database
  • Administer recruitment processes, including interview panel participation
  • Draft employment contracts for staff and players
  • Coordinate work permit applications and renewals
  • Collaborate with governing bodies on HR matters such as onboarding and offboarding
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle
  • Advise on statutory leave entitlements
  • Administer and manage employee benefit programs
  • Monitor employment legislation and implement policy updates accordingly
  • Clearly communicate HR initiatives and policy changes
  • Liaise with external HR and payroll partners on employee matters
  • Process monthly payroll amendments with the Finance team
  • Act as the key contact for industrial and employee relations
  • Support player development managers on HR-related issues
  • Lead or contribute to HR project work and new initiatives
  • Undertake additional duties as required by senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Degree or postgraduate diploma in a relevant business discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Head of HR/People & Development role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR practices
  • Experienced in coaching and mentoring
  • Proficiency with HR systems and tools
  • Membership of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
