Home Healthcare Support Specialist

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to provide support and care to individuals in their homes, promoting a safe, compassionate, and caring environment. As a Home Healthcare Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, delivering personalized services that enhance their quality of life.

You will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, toileting, meal preparation, and light housework. Additionally, you will support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and high dependency care, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Other responsibilities include supervising medication, following client care plans, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and their families. Effective communication and time management skills are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
  • Computer literacy and smartphone ownership
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, dedication, and trustworthiness
  • Fluent English language skills
