Job Title: Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist will support the procurement department activities associated with capital projects. This role is based in our Cork office and reports to the Commercial Services Manager.

This position involves working co-operatively within a group and across departments to achieve company goals in a respectful manner. The ideal candidate fosters a collegiate environment, understands team dynamics, and is tolerant of differing needs and viewpoints.

  • Assist project procurement personnel with daily tasks.
  • Build positive relationships with internal team members.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplined team on projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in prequalification process.
  • Prepare bid lists and Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Tender (RFTs).
  • Co-ordinate RFIs, assist with change management, and evaluate tenders.
  • Reconcile tenders with package budgets and manage Equipment procurement schedules (EPS).
  • Manage day-to-day systems including Commercial Manage System (CMS), Cork Business Unit SharePoint, and Sourcedogg.
  • Assist with valuation of change orders, interim payments, and final accounts.
Qualifications:
  • A degree in Business or Supply Chain level 7 or 8.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
