Senior Financial Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to oversee the financial management of our business. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a small but busy accounts team.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and financial controls, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate the Accounts Department team.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management including payroll, invoicing, grants, mortgages, and administration.
  • Manage company cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth.

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and financial reports, as well as statutory returns including VAT, tax, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a financial management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of Agricultural / Horticultural businesses in Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
