Job Title: Fleet Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to lead our team in Dublin, Ireland. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing asset management strategies in line with international standards.
  • Collaborating with the fleet maintenance department to plan and implement maintenance plans.
  • Reviewing and approving annual maintenance plan updates.
  • Managing the creation and update of fleet maintenance documentation.
  • Implementing reliability projects based on data analysis and return on experience.
  • Ensuring all projects adhere to acceptable engineering practices and compliance regulations.
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors to ensure parts and services are delivered to acceptable standards.
  • Developing solutions for component obsolescence.
  • Managing the implementation of the Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
  • Overseeing the engineering change control processes.
  • Producing supporting documents for defects and variations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum level 8 qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in an engineering department, including 2+ years of management experience.
  • Preferably five years working experience in the railway industry.
  • Experience in the design or maintenance of safety systems.
  • Experience of the maintenance industry.
  • Working knowledge of safety risk analysis.

Benefits:

  • Daytime work from Monday to Friday (39h/week contract).
  • Work location: Company premises at the 3 depots.
  • Reports to: Head of Engineering.
