Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

Our client requires a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role will work closely with the value stream maintenance teams to implement effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and implementing our TPM process to ensure efficient uptime and planned preventative maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Electrical, Automation & Mechanical system engineering and development of standard work for PM's component qualification/validation and machine integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent trade certification
  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience in Power Electronics/thermodynamics/automotive is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage critical process/machine cost and new process development projects with global team members and partners
  • Previous experience in other related areas, such as FMEA and 6 Sigma, is advantageous
  • Capable of interpreting process variance data and developing corrective measures where necessary

This role offers a challenging opportunity to drive continuous improvement of our TPM system, including evaluation of CMMS in conjunction with the maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring there are backup processes or products to comply with ABC Reliability Ratings and leading projects to improve site facilities and ensure uninterrupted production.

You will identify and drive ongoing development of the value stream process for manufacturing systems, develop and manage supplier partnerships with current and prospective new maintenance suppliers, and support other departments in the resolution of issues and implementation of projects.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying industry trends and standards in the automotive industry specifically related to TPM activities.

Other Information:

Knowledge of relevant safety standards and protocols applicable to equipment machinery is essential for this role.
