Senior Engineer Role

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer to fill a critical role in our Galway operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in all aspects of your work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Health and Safety protocols
  • Implement quality control measures and project-specific procedures
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and design teams
  • Review and critique designs to ensure adequate construction information is available
  • Coordinate design development from designer's details to approved workshop drawings
  • Oversee subcontractors and workforce on site, planning works efficiently to meet program targets
  • Maintain accurate site records and communicate effectively with designers and subcontractors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a site engineer
  • Experience working with main contractors, surveying firms, or similar preferred
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project software
