About Us: We are a renowned 3-Star hotel in the heart of Clifden, offering exceptional Irish hospitality, locally sourced produce, and a premium dining experience in our 130-seater restaurant. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding food, service, and atmosphere to both local and visiting guests.

The Role:

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the daily operation and leadership of our busy restaurant, ensuring consistently high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Working closely with the F&B Manager, you will lead the team to deliver an exceptional dining experience while driving revenue and maintaining cost control.

  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including service, staffing, and guest experience.
  • Ensure smooth service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while maintaining premium service standards.
  • Manage table reservations and seating plans for optimum capacity and guest flow.
  • Monitor and maintain all restaurant facilities and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

You will also be responsible for:
Leading by Example, actively engaging with guests and motivating the team.
Recruitment, Training, and Mentorship, ensuring service excellence through staff development and performance reviews.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and high standards is essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
