**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Early Childhood Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional who shares our passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 4 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be passionate about working with young children and committed to their development, with a patient, caring, and nurturing nature.

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities and educational programs that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in children. They will also maintain accurate records of each child's progress and share updates with parents regularly.

The role involves leading and mentoring nursery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment, as well as coordinating staff schedules to ensure adequate supervision and coverage throughout the day. Regular meetings with the team will be conducted to discuss planning, share best practices, and address any concerns or issues.

In addition, the successful candidate will establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns promptly. They will also facilitate effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, ensuring a cohesive and supportive working environment.

Another important aspect of the role is maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment, including regular cleaning routines and upkeep of materials and equipment. The successful candidate will also adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks and reporting any issues to management promptly.

The role requires the ability to plan, organize, and implement a range of activities, as well as proficiency in record-keeping and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will document emerging interests of the children, incorporating these interests into future planning and activities.

As part of our commitment to ongoing learning and development, the successful candidate will stay updated on best practices in early childhood education by attending workshops, training sessions, and reading relevant literature. They will also continuously improve the quality of care and education provided by incorporating new knowledge and techniques into the classroom.
