Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our projects.

Key responsibilities include conducting inspections to ensure compliance with company processes, contractual obligations, and industry regulations. Additionally, you will facilitate the smooth handover of projects by providing expert guidance and quality assurance.

You will also prepare and maintain detailed reports on safety visits, inspections, and compliance records. Furthermore, you will support commissioning teams by assessing their competency in work practices, fault-finding, quality control, compliance, and customer focus.

Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Provide constructive feedback to management regarding training and upskilling requirements.

Evaluate all engineers to ensure they comply with health and safety regulations, and verify that issued equipment is fit for purpose.

Requirements:
  • Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory) or a time-served engineer/tradesperson with an eye for quality.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a QA/QC Engineering role (preferred but not essential).
  • An eye for quality workmanship.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-driven approach to quality-related issues.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
