
Director of Culinary Operations

Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the gastro pub to ensure efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics.
- Coordinate opening and closing procedures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety, hygiene standards, and liquor laws.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing staff across all departments.
- Develop and implement effective scheduling strategies to optimize labor costs.
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment that encourages excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Guest Experience:
- Deliver an exceptional dining experience by maintaining high service standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and prompt manner.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on customer suggestions.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to drive sales and profitability.
- Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize resource allocation.
- Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
- Utilize social media and other marketing channels to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Plan and execute special events and promotions to boost sales and revenue.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry is required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in financial management and budgeting is also necessary. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
