About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team and oversee the preparation of healthy meals for vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our catering service, ensuring that all meals are prepared to a high standard and meet the nutritional needs of our clients.
  • Develop and implement new menu plans in collaboration with our target groups, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Oversee the ordering and management of food and equipment supplies, ensuring that all regulatory standards are met.
  • Lead and develop our kitchen team, providing training and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff details, timesheets, and attendance, as well as complete official checklists and files.
Requirements:
  • A recognized diploma or trade qualification in Catering or a related field.
  • Experience in managing kitchen teams and overseeing the preparation of meals for large numbers of people.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental policies.
