Parts Advisor Job Description

As a key member of our service team, the Parts Advisor plays a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences.

  • Receive and manage all incoming service calls efficiently.
  • Process bookings according to established procedures for smooth workshop operations.
  • Conduct thorough checks on vehicles at booking time to identify outstanding recalls and PDIS requirements.
  • Plan transportation for customers upon booking, confirming bookings on internal systems, and recording on their job card.
  • Collaborate with parts and service advisors to optimize workshop efficiency through effective communication.
  • Manage inventory based on demand and cost targets to drive business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts stock control system and faulty parts for informed decision-making.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional PC skills and familiarity with Auto View.
  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor would be an asset.
  • Passion for the motor trade and commitment to the Toyota Way principles.
  • A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a customer-centric approach.
