Financial Support Specialist Role

The Financial Support Specialist role is a vital position that contributes to the smooth operation of our finance function.

This dynamic and fast-paced environment requires a strong analytical mind and excellent attention to detail. Key responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of timely and accurate weekly management accounts, delivering key financial insights, and adhering to strict deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare weekly management accounts for multiple business units
• Conduct sales and purchase analysis, investigating and explaining variances
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies
• Contribute to data collection and analysis for budgeting and forecasting
• Produce financial reports providing insights into business performance
• Recommend and implement process improvements for increased operational efficiency
• Build effective working relationships with departments such as sales, production, operations, and inventory
Requirements:
• Recognized qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential; experience with financial software or ERP systems an advantage.
