Join our team as a Care and Support Assistant. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to residents in a nursing home setting.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in people's lives. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting staff with the assessment and implementation of individual care plans, undertaking daily tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the well-being, dignity, and treatment of all residents.

  • Assist staff with the assessment and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Work efficiently with the multidisciplinary team to approach patient care.
  • Assist residents with all personal care required, including bathing in bed, bathroom, or chair.
  • Monitor residents' well-being, promptly reporting any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences to senior staff and documenting appropriately.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective communication are essential skills. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be willing to learn and develop their skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
