Key Role: Garden Centre Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Garden Centre Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the garden centre, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on plant care, gardening, and landscaping, building strong relationships with our customers.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, including plants, composts, fertilisers & chemicals, garden tools, and gardening techniques.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in horticulture, gardening products, and techniques, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a retail environment, preferably in the gardening or horticulture sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
  • A passion for gardening and horticulture, with a deep understanding of plants, composts, fertilisers & chemicals, garden tools, and gardening techniques.
